Mont Mitchell grew up in the east-central Illinois town of
Robinson. A member of an agricultural family, Mitchell made
plans to enter the horticultural/agricultural industry. However,
while attending St. Louis Christian College, God seemed to have
other plans. Mitchell began planning and dreaming about starting
a church. Following several ministries in Indiana and Kentucky,
he and his family moved to the Westbrook Christian Church in
Bolingbrook, Illinois.
Dr. LC Sutton is currently Associate Professor of Christian
Ministries at Lincoln Christian University and minister at
Eminence Christian Church in Atlanta, IL. Before coming to LCU,
he taught classes in Christian Ministries and Theology at
Winston-Salem Bible College, where he also served as academic
dean for seven years. A graduate of Lincoln Christian
University’s School of Undergraduate Studies and Seminary, Dr.
Sutton completed his Doctor of Ministry at Emmanuel School of
Religion. Dr. Sutton has held preaching and youth ministries in
Illinois, Indiana, and North Carolina.
