Lincoln Police Department reports for Friday, Sept. 4 Accident
on September 1 at 9:32 a.m.; Woodlawn Road, 500 feet east of
Malerich Drive
--Lonnie E. Ayers, 64-year-old male, Lincoln; 2000 Chevrolet
Venture 4x2 Extended
--Kelly R. Margaret, 48-year-old female, Lincoln; 2007 Hyundai
Sonata
Ayers and Margaret were both westbound on Woodlawn Road when
Ayers struck the back bumper of Margaret’s vehicle with the front
bumper of his vehicle. Ayers said he had a seizure.
Both drivers were transported by Logan County Paramedics to
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Ayers was issued a citation.
