Christian Village to Host Benefit

[September 15, 2009]   -- The Christian Village, the Christian Homes nursing facility located in Lincoln, will be hosting a benefit event to help purchase a bus for its residents. The Village invites you to McLean, Mt. Hope/Funks Grove Park District (the old grade school on the west side of town). The event will take place on Friday, September 25th. Admission is $7 per person.

Barbecue sandwiches and other refreshments will be available for donations and will begin serving at 5:30 p.m.

At 7 p.m., the New Blood Bluegrass Band of Pekin, IL will perform along with other country, gospel and bluegrass entertainers.

Proceeds to be used to assist in purchasing a bus for the The Christian Village.
