[September 17, 2009]  ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Despite suffering a minor stroke last week, humorist Garrison Keillor says he has no plans to postpone the upcoming season of "A Prairie Home Companion."

Keillor told The Associated Press late Wednesday that taking it easy makes him restless. The 67-year-old radio show host and best-selling author says he doesn't have hobbies, "so work is what I do."

Keillor drove himself to a St. Paul hospital after feeling ill on Labor Day, then was taken by ambulance to the Mayo Clinic where he spent four nights. He was back at work Monday.

His famous baritone voice unscathed, he said he's fine but feels like he has jet lag.

The new season of "Prairie Home Companion" kicks off Sept. 26 with a live broadcast from St. Paul's Fitzgerald Theater.
