Atlanta police Capt. Van Hobbs says the woman's boyfriend called 911 Tuesday morning to say she told him she'd been bound since midnight.
Hobbs says the 39-year-old woman told police the intruder, who had a handgun and wore a ski mask, took her around the house and went through her belongings, then bound her.
He says the laptop was on her bed with her and she was able to use her toes to type and contact her boyfriend.
Hobbs says the intruder stole the victim's car.
