4-H Swine Show -- Album 2
!
[Click on photos below to enlarge.]

The swine shows are very fast-paced. There is no real pomp and circumstance in the awarding of ribbons and plaques.
When the announcement of a winner is made, the young man or lady trots to the judging box for a quick handshake and "Thank you," collects the prize, then runs back to herd their hog into its pen in a barn across the way.
So, while the pictorials may not tell you who won the show, we want to remind you that all the 4-H judging results are updated daily in Lincoln Daily News, thanks in no small part to Patty Huffer and others from the Logan County Extension office who compile this information and provide it for publication.

"Have you seen my pig?"

Another blue ribbon for her pocket.

With ribbon in hand, it's time to leave the arena.

"We need a stop sign in here!"

"There has got to be a hole in this fence somewhere!"

What kind of dance is this? The pigs are cheek-to-cheek and the kids are back-to-back!

I thought this was a "no passing" zone.

Seeing spots.
