In central Illinois, cattle
are
primarily considered a source of income. Participants in the 2010
Logan County Fair beef show, though, treated their livestock like
kings and queens. While Thursday morning at the fairgrounds saw cows
that were calm, cool and collected, as well as anxious in front of
the crowd, the judge said he based his decisions on a variety of
criteria, including how the cattle were raised.
