[August 30, 2010]  BERLIN (AP) -- Actress Isabella Rossellini will lead the jury at the annual Berlin International Film Festival in February.

Festival organizers announced the appointment on Monday. Festival director Dieter Kosslick described Rossellini as "a multifaceted, creative film artist with extensive experience in European, American and international cinema."

Rossellini's films include "Blue Velvet," "Wild at Heart" and "Fearless." She presented her directorial debut, the "Green Porno" short films, at the Berlin festival in 2008.

The festival didn't announce any other members of the jury that will award the top Golden Bear award and other prizes. This year, the panel was headed by filmmaker Werner Herzog.

The 2011 edition runs Feb. 10-20.
