[August 30, 2010]  EAST PEORIA -- The Lincoln College women's soccer team lost a hard-fought match to ICC 7-0 on Saturday. Lincoln managed to hold ICC to one goal for the first 42 minutes of the match.

HardwareBrittany Ashburn made some quality saves to keep the Lynx in the game with a halftime score of 3-0.  Megan Perry and Kaitlyn Chamblin both had solid games on defense.

Coach Amber Angermeier commented: "I think we came out and battled hard against ICC. We were able to hold off their attack for nearly the entire first half. In the second half, ICC pulled away with their ability to keep fresh legs on the field. The girls played hard the entire 90 minutes."
