[November 30, 2010]  Come to Breakfast with Santa on Saturday between 9 a.m. and noon at the Lincoln Masonic Center, 2022 N. Kickapoo St. The Lincoln Jaycees will be serving pancakes and sausage along with juice and milk. Look for Christmas goodies too.

Santa will be there for breakfast and to hear all the Christmas wishes. Bring your camera. Pictures will also be available.

Children 10 and under eat free. The children's families can eat for a $3 donation.

The annual Lincoln Jaycees Angel Tree is also under way. The Angel Tree is a project to help the less fortunate children of Logan County. Tags with children's names are placed on Christmas trees around the county. Employees and customers then pick tags from the tree and buy gifts for the children. The Lincoln Jaycees distribute these gifts to the families in time for Christmas.

The public can find the trees at the following locations: Cracker Barrel, ALMH cafeteria, CEFCU, Hampton Inn, Illini Bank, Action Rental, Hallie's, Sears, Blades Hair Salon and State Bank of Lincoln. Trees are also located at Eaton Corp. and Sysco for their employees.

Gifts need to be returned to the businesses by Dec. 12.

The Lincoln Jaycees purchase gifts to go with any tags not picked from the trees.

If you would like to make a monetary donation, please send it to: Lincoln Jaycees, PO Box 254, Lincoln, IL 62656.

The organization gives young people between the ages of 18 and 40 the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service and international connections.
