Despite
the challenging economic climate during 2010, the Preserve the
Mission campaign has still received many generous gifts
from individuals and businesses from throughout the area.
Contributions have come in the form of cash, appreciated stock, life
insurance and real estate. Many have even entered into agreements to
stretch their payments over three years.
|
For those of you who still wish to participate in the campaign,
we would like to remind you that all gifts received by Dec. 31 will
be recognized in a list of names in a commemorative publication
celebrating the March 2011 opening of ALMH.
Gifts can be mailed to ALHF Preserve the Mission at 315 Eighth
St., Lincoln, IL 62656, or dropped off at the hospital.
Or, visit www.almh.org to make
a Preserve the Mission gift
online.
If you would like to have a campaign packet sent to your home,
please call campaign director Marty Ahrends at 732-5048. All of us
are available to meet with you personally to discuss how your gift
can help Preserve the Mission of ALMH.
On behalf of all the future ALMH patients who will benefit from
your generosity, thank you!
Bill Bates, campaign co-chair, 735-1234
John Guzzardo, campaign co-chair, 732-9757

Tuesdays
with Santa -- The Lincoln Public Library has again invited
Santa Claus to visit with children in December. The jolly man will
be at the Annex on Dec. 7 and 14 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sit on Santa's
lap, take pictures, get a candy cane, write a letter to Santa (he
has a lot to remember) and make a take-home craft. Call 732-5732 to
sign up now so that Santa can bring enough candy canes.
Got
a good piece of news, information or something that we can all brag
about? If you do, e-mail Mike and let us tell everyone about it.
Plus you can win cash. Every submission, whether we use it or not,
will get your name in the Close Up grab bag. At the end of the month
we will draw a name and someone will get $25 just for dropping us an
e-mail. If you wish, we will be happy to donate your winnings to the
organization of your choice.
