Mount Pulaski Zion Lutheran basketball results

[December 20, 2010]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Zion Lutheran Crusaders recently played Bethel Morton and Salem Jacksonville.

The Crusaders split in their games with Bethel.

Zion's sixth grade was led by Lukas Aylesworth with 13 points and 18 rebounds. Austin Krueger provided six points. Mitchell Hagenbuch added three, and Noah Funk and Joshua Jackson each had two points.

Zion won with a final score of 26-17.

Zion's eighth grade was outscored 12-4 in the second quarter and could not overcome the deficit.

Matthew Amidon scored eight points and 15 rebounds for the Crusaders. Brandon Hickey finished with four points. Kurtis Hoock and Caleb Przykopanski each chipped in two points, and Lukas Aylesworth added one point.

Zion lost 28-17.

Zion Mount Pulaski vs. Salem Jacksonville

The Zion Lutheran Crusaders took two from Salem Jacksonville.

The sixth grade was led by Mitchell Hagenbuch with 15 points. Lukas Aylesworth added seven points and nine rebounds. Austin Krueger provided six points, and Caleb Meador had one point.

Zion won with a final score of 29-15.

Zion's eighth grade also secured a win against Salem.

Brandon Hickey finished the game with 15 points. Matthew Amidon had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Kurtis Hoock put in 10 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Lukas Aylesworth added six points and Caleb Przykopanski had two points.

Final score: Zion 44, Salem 23.
