[December 23, 2010] Andrea Cross of Emden and Christopher Sheley of Lincoln were married Oct. 2, 2010, in a 2:30 p.m. service at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lincoln.

Father Thomas Taylor officiated.

Andrea is the daughter of Jay and Christy Cross of Emden. Christopher's parents are Rick and Mary Jane Sheley of Lincoln.

Andrea's attendants were Joni Cross, cousin of the bride, as maid of honor; Amanda Steffens, sister of the groom; Betsy Meyer, sister of the groom; Jenna Bergman, friend of the bride; and Amanda Buglio, cousin of the bride.

Christopher's attendants were Steve Shanle, friend of the groom, as best man; Nathan Steffen, brother-in-law of the groom; Chris Meyer, brother-in-law of the groom; Adam Cross, brother of the bride; and Bobbie Brummer, friend of the groom.

The bride's maternal grandparents were Robert and Margaret Conrady (both deceased). Her paternal grandparents are James Russell and Ruby Cross of Lincoln.

The groom's maternal grandparents are Monty and Emma Elliott of Lincoln. Paternal grandparents are Nancy Long of New Holland and Richard Sheley (deceased).

The wedding reception was at the Lincoln Banquet Center.

The couple honeymooned at Cancun, Mexico.

Andrea graduated from Hartsburg-Emden High School in 2005 and from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2009 with a degree in nursing. She is attending Mennonite School of Nursing in the family nurse practitioner program and is an emergency room nurse at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Christopher graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 2003 and from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2007 with a degree in business administration. He is employed by Sheley Trucking in Lincoln.

They are living in Lincoln.
