Scholarship guidelines and application forms are available for
download from
www.almh.org. Completed applications are due on April 2.
Scholarship winners are entitled to use the funds in the
2010-2011 school year to help pay for any level of their
postsecondary education.
Applicants must be permanent residents of either Logan County or
eastern Mason County. Graduating high school seniors, as well as
students further along in their health care curriculum, are eligible
to apply. Future nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists,
primary care providers and those entering other health care
professional shortage areas are especially encouraged to apply.
Applicants are evaluated on their academic achievement in high
school or college course work, financial need, personal character,
career preparation activities, soundness of educational plan, and
the establishment of clear and realistic career goals.
Community members wishing to financially support local students
pursuing careers in health care may send contributions to the
scholarship fund at the Abraham Lincoln Healthcare Foundation, 315
