It wasn't 30 percent as Logan County
Clerk and Recorder Sally Litterly had predicted, but it came close.

Of the 19,999 registered voters, 5,409 came to the polls Tuesday to
cast their ballots for statewide as well as countywide elections.

In Atlanta the question of raising property taxes by 0.085
percent went down for the public library, with 305 "no" votes to 166 "yes" votes.
In Lawndale a question to raise the property taxes by 5 percent
was approved by a 19-6 vote.
