Agriculture futures trade higher on the CBOT

[February 17, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures advanced Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for March delivery climbed 18.5 cents to $5.05 a bushel, while March corn gained 5.75 cents to $3.6725 a bushel and oats for March delivery rose 3.25 cents to $2.36 a bushel. March soybeans jumped 20.5 cents to $9.655 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded higher and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle added 1.4 cents to 92.17 cents a pound; March feeder cattle rose 1.37 cents to $1.0112 a pound; April lean hogs inched up 0.07 cent to 68.27 cents a pound; and March pork bellies slipped 0.4 cent to 83.6 cents a pound.
