Chamber annual dinner tickets available

[February 04, 2010]  The Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to share in celebrating successes and honoring Logan County's finest. At the chamber's annual dinner on Jan. 23 at the American Legion, the organization will highlight successes over the past year and kick off the 2010 chamber year.

The evening will kick off with a social hour starting at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. and the program will begin at 8 p.m. During the event the chamber will introduce new board members, celebrate retiring board members, introduce new chamber members and announce the 2009 Pride & Progress Award winners.

Pride & Progress awards are sponsored by the chamber's executive committee. The awards are designed to recognize outstanding achievement and promote positive awareness.

Awards will be presented for Small Business of the Year (50 or fewer employees), Large Business of the Year (more than 50 employees), New Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Beautification Award and Excellence in Service. To be eligible to receive one of these awards, a business or individual must be a member in good standing of the Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce.

The mission of the chamber is to be advocate for business by providing leadership, programs and services that create, protect and enhance the business environment for the benefit of chamber members and Lincoln/Logan County.
