Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[February 04, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery edged up 1.25 cents to $5.37 a bushel, while March corn lost 8.5 cents to $3.84 a bushel and oats for March delivery fell 2 cents to $2.505 a bushel. March soybeans jumped 14.5 cents to $9.925 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded mixed and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle inched up 0.25 cent to 85.7 cents a pound; March feeder cattle shed 0.73 cent to 97.57 cents a pound; February lean hogs gained 2.57 cents to 68.97 cents a pound; and February pork bellies added 1.77 cents to 88.82 cents a pound.
