Inauguration of Dr. Clay Ham on Tuesday

The inauguration ceremony of Dr.
Clay Alan Ham as vice president of academics at Lincoln Christian
University will be on Tuesday. Visitors are invited to join faculty,
staff and students at 9:30 a.m. in the Earl C Hargrove Chapel on the
campus for this special recognition.

Before joining the LCU faculty, Ham worked at Dallas Christian
College for 20 years, first as professor of New Testament and later
as vice president of academic affairs. Presently, he also serves as
adjunct professor of Bible at Lakeview Bible Seminary in Chennai,
India, as a member of the board of directors for New Mission Systems
International in Fort Myers, Fla., and as a member-at-large on the
Commission on Accreditation with the Association for Biblical Higher
Education.
He has authored two books, "The Coming King and the Rejected
Shepherd" and "Minor Prophets 2: Nahum-Malachi" (with former
colleague Mark Hahlen). He serves on the editorial board for the
Stone-Campbell Journal and has written several articles and essays,
including "Judas Iscariot," in "Encyclopedia of the Historical
Jesus" (Routledge) and "Minor Prophets in Matthew," in "Minor
Prophets in the New Testament" (T.&T. Clark).
He received a bachelor's degree in Christian ministries and a
master's degree from Lincoln Christian College and Seminary,
respectively. He earned his Ph.D. in New Testament from Southwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary.
He and his wife, Diane, have three grown children and recently
relocated to Lincoln from Dallas, Texas.
