[January 29, 2010]  King and queen to be crowned at Maple Ridge on Feb. 12. Take a walk through Maple Ridge Care Centre and you'll find heart-covered boxes waiting for ballots for the Valentine's Day king and queen of Maple Ridge. Staff and residents cast their votes for who should wear the crown for a day.

Coronation will take place during a Valentine's Day party on Friday, Feb. 12, at 2:15 p.m.  Refreshments and entertainment will round out the festivities. The community is invited to attend as well as residents' family members.

Maple Ridge Care Centre is located at 2202 N. Kickapoo St. in Lincoln.
