Brown apron? Check. Blue shirt? Check. Wig? Check. Lynette Hill wondered why police were checking her out when she went across the street to her bank in eastern Shelby County on Tuesday.
WPTY-TV in Memphis quoted Hill as saying police were getting ready to arrest her before they figured out she wasn't the similarly dressed woman who had just robbed Regions Bank in the Cordova area.
Hill owns a business that makes funnel cakes and cotton candy.
She was unaware of the robbery minutes before she went to the bank.
Her husband, Eldrid Hill, said his wife has a halo over her head and is "real lucky."
