[July 09, 2010] The engagement of Andrea Cross and Christopher Sheley, both of Lincoln, is being announced.

Andrea is the daughter of Jay and Christy Cross of Emden. Christopher's parents are Rick and Mary Jane Sheley of Lincoln.

Andrea graduated from Hartsburg-Emden High School in 2005 and from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a bachelor's degree in nursing in 2009. She is currently enrolled in a master's degree family nurse practitioner program at Mennonite School of Nursing at Illinois State University.

She is a registered nurse employed in the emergency department at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Christopher graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 2003 and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2008.

He is currently employed by Caterpillar.

Their wedding is planned for Oct. 2 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lincoln.
