Saturday morning the annual
early morning Fourth of July block party in Starkey Acres subdivision
honored Lincoln's newest citizen, Njeri Bere.
As part of their tribute to her, Bere was made grand marshal of the
walking parade and received a special gift from Lincoln's mayor,
Keith Snyder.
