[July 12, 2010]  LOUISIANA, Mo. (AP) -- The father of a 4-year-old eastern Missouri girl who was grabbed from her front yard last week and found 26 hours later says doctors did not find any physical evidence of an assault.

David Maier told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that his daughter has been happy since her return home in Louisiana, Mo., north of St. Louis. He previously had not spoken publicly about Alisa Maier's abduction.

Alisa was grabbed from her yard last Monday night. Police found her Tuesday night wandering around at a car wash.

The man who authorities said abducted Alisa fatally shot himself Wednesday when confronted by police.

David Maier says his daughter has not talked about what happened and that he and Alisa'a mother won't be pressing her for details.
