Final summer band concert draws large crowd at Latham

A crowd of 300 gathered for
the last summer concert in Latham Park Sunday evening. Conducted by
Larry Maffett, the Lincoln Area Music Society's Lincoln Area
Summer Band gave their fourth and final concert, honoring veterans
and active members of the armed forces. Legion Post 263 Honor Guard
presented the colors, and the Lincoln Woman's Club had ice cream and
cake.
