Grains futures drop, livestock prices rise

[July 20, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly dropped Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for September delivery slid 3 cents to $5.8425 a bushel; September corn slid 12.25 cents to $3.825 a bushel; November soybeans shed 10.5 cents to $9.745 a bushel; and September oats were flat at $2.675 a bushel.

Livestock futures mostly rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle added 0.33 cent to 92.60 cents a pound; August feeder cattle gained 0.37 cent to $1.1347 a pound; August lean hogs rose 0.60 cent to 82.30 cents a pound; and August pork bellies were flat at 97.50 cents a pound.
