[July 20, 2010]  BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) -- Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to turn herself in Tuesday to begin serving a 90-day jail sentence.

The 24-year-old actress was sentenced to the jail stint earlier this month after a judge found Lohan had violated the terms of her probation for a 2007 drug case.

The "Mean Girls" star is likely to serve far less than her three-month jail term due to overcrowding. She will then be required to spend three months in rehab and be monitored by a probation officer.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel handed down the sentence after determining Lohan violated her probation by missing seven weekly alcohol education classes since December. Lohan remains on probation after entering a plea deal in a 2007 drug and drunken driving case.
