Grains futures, livestock prices mostly rise

[July 23, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery jumped 12.75 cents to $6.01 a bushel; September corn added 4.75 cents to $3.845 a bushel; November soybeans gained 8.75 cents to $9.8725 a bushel; and September oats edged up 0.5 cent to $2.58 a bushel.

Livestock futures mostly rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle added 0.25 cent to 93.75 cents a pound; August feeder cattle were flat at $1.1465 a pound; August lean hogs gained 0.80 cent to 82.30 cents a pound; and August pork bellies jumped 3.05 cents to 103.60 cents a pound.
