State's attorney files multiple charges against Lincoln youths

[July 24, 2010]  LINCOLN -- Last night, Logan County State's Attorney, Michael McIntosh filed a prepared statement of additional charges against two young men believed responsible for several burglaries and damage to property in Lincoln. The following is that text.

On June 29, 2010, Trent A. Bree was arraigned on a felony indictment for aggravated battery, 10 CF 89.

My office represented the State at this hearing and the defendant indicated that he was going to look into hiring an attorney to represent him in this matter. Consequently, the court continued the matter to July 13, 2010.
 

Later in the day on June 29, 2010, Lincoln Police apprehended Trent A. Bree and Dalton J. Ingram leaving a residence on the six-hundred block of Third Street in Lincoln.

 

On June 30, 2010, my office filed a single count felony information charging both individuals with residential burglary in connection with this incident.

On July 1, 2010, both defendants appeared in court and bond was set at $50,000.00 for Trent A. Bree (10 CF 114) and $25,000.00 for Dalton J. Ingram (10 CF 113).


Earlier today, my office filed three additional multiple-count felony informations against Trent A. Bree and three additional multiple-count felony informations against Dalton J. Ingram.

 

The new charges are as follows:
10 CF 128 charges Trent A. Bree with:


Count 1 - residential burglary. This charge relates to a June 7, 2010, incident on the eighteen-hundredth block of 1250th Avenue, Lincoln.
Count 2 - residential burglary. This charge relates to a June 7, 2010, incident at a residence on Pheasant Run, Lincoln.
Count 3 - residential burglary. This charge relates to a June 7, 2010, incident at a residence on Oakwood Drive, Lincoln.
Count 4 - residential burglary. This charge relates to a June 8, 2010, incident at the one-thousandth block of Eighth Street, Lincoln.


* The bond was set by the court at $150,000.00, for this matter.


10 CF 129 charges Trent A. Bree with:
Count 1 - burglary
Count 2 - theft of a BMW automobile
Count 3 - theft a Ford Mustang Shelby GT.
Count 4 - criminal damage to property


* These charges relate to a June 21, 2010, incident at Bex Automotive on Logan Street in Lincoln. The bond was set by the court at $150,000.00, for this matter.

10 CF 130 charges Trent A. Bree with:


Count 1 - burglary
Count 2 - criminal damage to property
* These charges relate to a June 20, 2010, incident at Pet Connection on Woodlawn Road in Lincoln. The bond was set by the court at $150,000.00, for this matter.
10 CF 131 charges Dalton J. Ingram with:
Count 1 - burglary

All defendants are presumed innocent of all charges unless they have been proven in a court of law.
