Waller raised her record to 2-0 for the Eagles, striking out four,
allowing just one hit and no walks, facing just two above the
minimum. She gave way to Jazzminn Morecraft, who also gave up just
one hit but walked eight, and the locals capitalized for their five
tallies. Heather Curry closed the game and held Mount Pulaski
scoreless to preserve the victory.
Hemenway's slam closed out the second inning, giving the Eagles a
13-0 lead. She finished the game 2 for 3 with four RBIs. Other
hitting stars for the Eagles were Waller, 2 for 2 with three RBIs;
Sydney Johnson, 2 for 2 with two RBIs; Morecraft, 1 for 2 with three
RBIs; and Rachel Podbelsek, 1 for 3 with two RBIs. The Eagles
