HardwareNearly 250 exhibitors, including publishers Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo, plan to hype their latest games and gizmos at the gaming industry's annual convention in Los Angeles.

The Entertainment Software Association expects 45,000 attendees at the expo, which begins Sunday night. Motion-sensitive and 3-D games are expected to capture the most buzz.

Anticipated games slated to be on display include intergalactic prequel "Halo: Reach," Vietnam War-focused first-person shooter "Call of Duty: Black Ops," survival space thriller "Dead Space 2," expansive role-playing sequel "Fable III" and "Rock Band 3," which will introduce a piano controller to the music game franchise.
