The Lincoln Area Ministerial Association will hold its annual
Community Good Friday Service on Friday, April 2 at 7:00 PM. This
year's service will be hosted by Jefferson Street Christian Church.
The service will last about an hour. Several pastors from LAMA
churches will participate in the service. This year's speaker is
Rebecca Van Nydeggen. She is the director of the Logan County
Salvation Army.
The Lincoln Area Ministerial Association is an informal alliance of
pastors and churches in Logan County that strives to bring about
Christian unity. In addition to their monthly gatherings for
ministers, they also work with the Lincoln Police Department to
oversee the Community Transient Fund.

Free Methodist Church will host a concert featuring
Cathy J. Reynolds, "Passionate Southern Gospel" on Saturday
April 3 at 6:00p.m. Admission is free and open to the
public.
