Agriculture futures trade slightly higher on CBOT

[March 30, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were slightly higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

May corn edged up 0.75 cent to $3.57 a bushel, while May soybeans climbed 15.5 cents to $9.675 a bushel. Wheat for May delivery was unchanged at $4.6475 a bushel and oats for May delivery flat at $2.12 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle added 1.33 cents to 92.9 cents a pound, May feeder cattle rose 1.75 cents to $1.099 a pound, June lean hogs climbed 3 cents to 81.02 cents a pound and May pork bellies jumped 3 cents to 96.7 cents a pound.
