Approximately 140 people
preregistered for the annual MS Walk, but chairwoman Nancy Ireland
said that the total number of walkers who showed up was closer to
300. Including corporate and business sponsorships; the total amount
raised at this year's walk came to $27,000.

At the pavilion on the backside of the park,
volunteers lined tables, taking registration information, passing out
shirts and taking a moment here and there to visit with friends.
