| Accidents Driver versus cement barrier Accident occurred May 17 at 8:06 a.m. in the 800 block of 
			Woodlawn. 
				Josserand, Juanita L., 73-year-old female, Lincoln; 2009 
				Dodge Avenger Josserand reported that she was exiting the Logan County Bank 
			parking lot onto Woodlawn. She passed too close to the concrete 
			barrier at the entrance to the bank, causing major damage to her 
			vehicle. Illness may have contributed to accident Accident occurred May 17 in the 2300 block of Woodlawn Road. 
				Metelko, Joey A., 30-year-old male, Lincoln; 2002 Ford F250 
				series pickup The driver did not give an account of the accident at the time it 
			occurred. Two witnesses following in vehicles behind Metelko gave 
			similar accounts of what they saw occur. According to witnesses, Metelko was westbound on Woodlawn near 
			the Jim Xamis dealership when his vehicle started swerving. The 
			truck left the westbound lanes, went into the median, proceeded 
			across the eastbound lanes into a road ditch, then out of the ditch 
			and into the Xamis lot, where the vehicle struck a post and came to 
			a stop. Metelko was transported by the Logan County Paramedics to Abraham 
			Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Paramedics told police the accident may 
			have been caused by illness.

			 Owner reports hit-and-run at unknown time and 
			location 
				Weiland, Mary E., 88-year-old female, Lincoln; 2002 Buick 
				Century Custom Weiland reported to police that sometime between the morning of 
			Saturday, May 15, and Sunday morning, May 16, her vehicle was struck 
			by an unknown driver. According to Weiland, the incident may have occurred either in 
			the parking lot of Friendship Manor or at the Lincoln IGA. Police 
			noted damage to the driver's-side rear bumper of the car. Lincoln Police Department reports for Wednesday, May 19 
				
				Daniels, Mary A., 
				52-year-old female, Lincoln; arrested May 19 at her residence on 
				Class A charge of domestic battery.
				Pointer, Kerry D., 44-year-old male, 
				Lincoln, arrested on May 18 at his residence on Class A charge 
				of domestic battery. Logan County Sheriff's Department reports for Wednesday, May 19 No reports.
