It was a perfect afternoon for the kindergarten class from Washington-Monroe School to have a picnic. The youngsters had their lunch in the shade of the trees at Scully Park. Later in the day, a whopper of a rainstorm changed the landscape of the town from warm and sunny to water everywhere. See picture in Community.
