[May 28, 2010]  Castle Manor in Lincoln hosted a "Meet Your Neighbor" event on Monday at the Lincoln Recreation Center. The event introduced new residents of the supportive living community to both the staff of Castle Manor and the people who will soon be their new neighbors. Tim Searby, director, also shared move-in information with the residents and told them what to expect when the community opens later this month.

"I am delighted that residents and staff were able to become better acquainted with each other before moving into this wonderful new community," said Searby.

Castle Manor Supportive Living will open its doors to residents in late June. The community offers adults age 65 and over customized personal care services to maintain their independence. The services at the supportive living facility are open to older adults regardless of income level, and it is the only facility like this in Logan County.

Castle Manor is affiliated with St. Clara's Manor, a skilled-nursing facility in Lincoln. Heritage Enterprises of Bloomington manages the day-to-day operations of both locations.

Heritage Enterprises has managed the day-to-day operations of St. Clara's Manor since 2001, in conjunction with the St. Clara's Manor board of directors. Heritage Enterprises was founded in 1962 and is involved in a variety of residential and health care services for seniors, including skilled and intermediate nursing care, sheltered care, respite care, therapy and institutional pharmacy, supportive living facilities, licensed assisted living, and independent living.
