Democrats in Congress have focused on BP's well design, saying the company made decisions that sacrificed safety for profits. The panel so far has shown that it's not shy about leveling criticism. Led by President George H.W. Bush's former Environmental Protection Agency administrator and a Republican senator from Florida, the panel has been critical of the Obama administration's response to the spill, including decisions to suspend deep water exploration and whether the Interior Department did enough to separate its dueling duties of collecting money from oil companies and policing the companies' activities on federal lands. ___ Online: National Oil Spill Commission:
