Donny and Marie Osmond extend their Broadway show

[November 11, 2010]  NEW YORK (AP) -- Donny and Marie Osmond have added nine more shows to their Christmas production on Broadway.

Originally scheduled for a limited 12 performance run, "Donny & Marie -- A Broadway Christmas" will now play 21 performances, starting Dec. 9 and ending Dec. 30.

The show will mark the first time the siblings have shared a Broadway stage. They'll be singing favorite hits and holiday songs with a live band.

Donny has starred in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" in Toronto for six years and made it to Broadway as Gaston in "Beauty & The Beast." Marie made her Broadway debut in 1997 as Anna in "The King and I" and toured as Maria in "The Sound of Music."
