Friday night, in spite of a
chill in the air and a nippy breeze coming around the corner at
Kickapoo and Pulaski streets, folks filled the sidewalks on
all four corners waiting for the annual Lincoln Christmas Parade and the
promise of a visit from Santa.
The parade included a wide variety of entrants, including the Lincoln
Community High School Marching Band. In spite of a tournament going
on at the high school, the band graciously made time to march in this
year's parade.
