Red Lions volleyball

[October 04, 2010]  CHICAGO -- The Lincoln Christian University volleyball team dropped two matches Saturday to make their record 12-7 for the year. The Red Lions lost to Trinity International University 15-25, 16-25, 22-25, and to Trinity Christian College 15-25, 12-25 and 10-25.

Against TIU the Red Lions got 10 kills, one service ace, nine digs and three blocks from Krystine Schnautz and six kills, two service aces, nine digs and two blocks from Jamie McFadden. Emily Sheley contributed with five kills and Lydia Bunting added 12 assists.

In the match with TCC, McFadden had seven kills, one service ace, six digs and two blocks while Schnautz had eight kills and six digs. Sheley added six kills, two digs and two blocks while Bunting had 19 assists.

The Red Lions will be at Eureka on Tuesday evening and at home against St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Thursday evening.
