[October 11, 2010]  LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The new "Harry Potter" film won't be as dimensional as it was supposed to be.

Warner Bros. Studios says the seventh installment in the popular boy-wizard franchise will be released only in standard 2-D, not 3-D as planned.

The studio said in a statement Friday that it was able to complete the 3-D conversion of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" in time for its scheduled Nov. 19 release date, and it didn't want to keep fans waiting.

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" will be released in both 2-D and 3-D on July 15, 2011.
