[October 12, 2010]  NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -- Attorneys for four California men accused of illegally buying and selling more than a million sports and concert tickets online will ask a judge in New Jersey to throw the case out Tuesday.

Kenneth Lowson, Kristofer Kirsch, Faisal Nahdi and Joel Stevenson face charges that include conspiracy, wire fraud and unauthorized computer access. The wire fraud charges carry 20-year maximum sentences.

The four and their company, Wiseguy Tickets, are accused of developing a program that could automatically get past Web pages that require purchasers to manually type in a sample word to continue.

The four contend that, at worst, they violated the terms of use of the websites, but they didn't break federal law.
