Grains futures, livestock prices mostly rise

[October 13, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures rose Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery edged up 0.75 cent to $7.10 a bushel; December corn jumped 23.25 cents to $5.79 a bushel; December oats gained 14 cents to $3.83 a bushel; and soybeans for November delivery rose 26 cents to $11.785 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures mostly traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle added 0.55 cent to 99.30 cents a pound; November feeder cattle rose 0.13 cent to $1.0725 a pound; December lean hogs gained 0.15 cent to 72.77 cents a pound; while February pork bellies were unchanged at $1.03 a pound.
