Grains prices, beef and pork futures mostly rise

[September 04, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery jumped 27.5 cents to $7.4125 a bushel; December corn rose 17 cents to $4.645 a bushel; December oats gained 11 cents to $2.95 a bushel; while November soybeans added 26 cents to $10.35 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures mostly rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle edged up 0.02 cent to 98.47 cents a pound; October feeder cattle dropped 0.45 cent to $1.1505 a pound; October lean hogs rose 0.90 cent to 77.32 cents a pound; while February pork bellies traded 0.05 cent higher to $1.0530 a pound.
