Red Lions defeat St. Louis College of Pharmacy

[September 10, 2010]  ST. LOUIS -- The Red Lions of Lincoln Christian University improved their record to 4-1 by defeating St. Louis College of Pharmacy in women's volleyball Thursday evening, winning three out of four games: 19-25, 26-24, 25-18 and 25-22.

LCU was led by Krystine Schnautz with 25 kills, 13 digs, two blocks, one assist and three service aces, and by Jamie McFadden with 14 kills, 11 digs and three service aces.

Rachel Langseth added nine kills and seven digs, and Lincoln High School grad Emily Sheley had six kills and seven digs. Lydia Bunting had 49 of the team's 51 assists, and Anna Devillez had 15 digs.

The Red Lions will play at home Tuesday, when they do battle with University of Illinois Springfield.
