Grains futures mixed, cattle prices mostly rise

[September 11, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures traded mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery dipped 1.25 cents to $7.3675 a bushel; December corn climbed 7.5 cents to $4.7825 a bushel; and December oats added 9.25 cents to $3.24 a bushel. Soybeans for November delivery slid 15 cents to $10.31 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle added 0.25 cent to 97.15 cents a pound; October feeder cattle edged up 0.07 cent to $1.1182 a pound; October lean hogs dipped 0.12 cent to 77.25 cents a pound; and February pork bellies rose 0.10 cent to $1.0580 a pound.
