Building bridges at LCHS

LCHS woods and drafting students took part in a bridge building competition to see whose bridge design and fabrication could withstand the most weight (in pounds). Each student was given 12 sticks, 12 inches long, for a total of 144 inches. All 144 inches had to be used in the bridge parameters of 14 inches long by 4 inches tall by 3 inches  wide. Joe Mangano came in at first place with a total of 295 pounds. Second place was Kevin Chi holding 200 pounds, and third place was Lacey Green with 165 pounds.
