[September 15, 2010]  The 40th annual Abraham Lincoln National Railsplitting Festival is fast approaching. With so many great options for families to enjoy, the weekend won't disappoint.

InsuranceA highlight of the festival is the return of Mike Anderson and Brian "Fox" Ellis. They will be performing at the Logan County Fairgrounds on Saturday, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Mike Anderson will be back by popular demand. Anderson has honed his skills as a storyteller and is one of the best yarn-spinners and worst pun-tellers anywhere. His superb styling as a communicator makes him a favorite. In the past he has performed locally at Postville Courthouse and Mount Pulaski Courthouse.

Following him will be Brian "Fox" Ellis, whose goal is to be an inspiration to his audiences, offering them a chance to gather a deeper sense of who they are in relation to the human history and natural world around them. Ellis has been entertaining audiences for the past 30 years, offering some education along the way, through song, myth, poetry and stories.

This event is fun for the entire family. For more information, check the website at www.railsplitting.com.
