[September 17, 2010]  HELL, Mich. (AP) -- A Hell-based car club will try to set a world record for the longest procession of hearses. Just Hearse'N Around will try to set a new Guinness World Records mark at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the hamlet about 45 miles west of Detroit.

HardwareClub member Steve Frey said to qualify for the record, each of the expected 50-plus hearses must be driven in procession for just over two miles.

Frey said most club members aren't professional hearse drivers or morticians. They "just like to have fun" and love Halloween.

He said club members aren't creeped out by the vehicles.

Frey told the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus no one has "ever died in a hearse. They're dead when they get there. People die in ambulances every day, and nobody's creeped out by them."
